Cambodia receives first batch of US-made Johnson & Johnson vaccine

Cambodia received half a million single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccines on Friday, the first portion of more than one million doses donated by the US government through the international COVAX mechanism. The country will also receive another 415,000 doses of AstraZeneca donated from the United Kingdom as well.

Ex-RFA reporter accused of delivering secret ‘disk’ to US embassy

A former Radio Free Asia journalist on trial for espionage was accused on Friday of delivering secret information to the U.S. Embassy. Uon Chhin and Yeang Sothearin worked for RFA’s Khmer-language news service until the U.S.-funded media outlet shut its Phnom Penh bureau on September 12, 2017, citing government pressure and the forced closure of FM radio stations carrying its broadcasts.
