World Vision Supports 14,000 Poor Primary Pupils At Risk of Dropping Out, Offers Full Education

About 14,378 out of 100,000 vulnerable children in 10 provinces at risk of dropping out of primary school received full education support from World Vision International projects and have been reinstated in school.

Land plots awarded to hundreds of families living along derelict train line

Daun Ov community in Choeung Ek pleads for land titles

About 40 people from the Daun Ov community, representing some 84 families in Choeung Ek village in Dangkor district, gathered Wednesday at Phnom Penh City Hall to urge authorities to issue long-awaited land titles to the community as a nearby development project moves forward.

Manual for Schools Aims to Prevent Abuse by Teachers

In Pursat’s floating villages, no nearby secondary school means little chance at seventh grade

Pursat Province’s Krakor district: Chea Reaksmey, 13, has managed to make it to sixth grade on the Tonle Sap lake. At Kampong Prak Primary School, she’s an excellent student — one who dreams of becoming a teacher. But with the nearest secondary school on the mainland, far from her floating home, she has little hope of furthering her education.
